In 2018, many UK laws applied to the verification of documents and identity. Oath Commissioner in English Law plays an integral role in various affidavits and statutory declarations, appointed by the Lord Chancellor. Peace Commissioner: A Commissioner for Oaths who is also an acting Peace Commissioner, can NOT charge fees for administering oaths, taking declarations or affirmation that they cannot charge for as a Peace Commissioner.
