Obtaining legal assistance is becoming increasingly difficult for many people as a result of growing gaps in service provision, and this award recognises the teams, firms, and organisations of legal aid providers and others who go above and beyond to address this issue.
Among the numerous examples are the following:
-The application of technology to assist in the administration of justice.
-Using novel approaches to casework and service delivery.
-Using test cases to establish the viability of new services in the advisory field.
-Developing business models that will allow those who seek legal advice and representation but cannot afford it to obtain effective and affordable services.
-Finding new and innovative methods to promote access to justice in your community.
The following is what the judges are searching for:
A proactive strategy to address concerns about access to justice, evaluating client requirements and demonstrating benefits, and establishing a long-term service delivery model.
